Honey and Ginger Floral Designs
Honey and Ginger Floral Designs is a floral studio, an artistic haute couture of floral arrangements and bouquets located in South Africa, Sandton. Honey and Ginger uses the finest quality resources and flowers to create spectacular arrangements.
Kholofelo Kekana, the founder and creative director of Honey and Ginger works with a team of talented and passionate florists to not just keep up with the times but push the envelope on the creation of floral arrangements . Our concepts are nothing short of drama, class, sophistication and
style, while never losing reverence for the natural beauty of flowers. We enjoy celebrating the imperfections that flowers present to us, which adds authenticity in all our creations.
Our arrangements often include items rarely used in floristry such as exotic fruits and vegetables
which all form part of nature’s beauty. We pride ourselves in mixing our passion together with our
personal touch to create timeless and authentic floral designs.

Honey and Ginger is owned and run by Kholofelo Kekana a qualified Business Intelligence Analyst who studied B.com Information Systems in Cape Town and later B.com (Honours) Informatics and SAP-ERP at the University of Pretoria. She is an IT girl (whichever way you choose to read it).
She later discovered her passion for Floristry and event organising when she was a big part of her own wedding planning at Chez Charlene Wedding Venue in the Eastern parts of Pretoria. She decided to the leap of faith, quit her job as her inner creative self would not quieten down and requested that the owner of Chez Charlene take her under her wings and show her the tricks and trades of the business. She went on to complete a certificate in floral designing and wedding planning at SA Wedding School.
She recently opened her floral studio in Sandton where she works with her team of passionate artisans to create designs that inspire clients to smile and have a unique ability to bring a moment of peace. She is inspire by her late grandfather (Simon Mashobane Nhlapo), a successful entrepreneur who encouraged her to aim high and to never give up on her dreams.
Mission
To us Flowers tell a story waiting to be read so we don’t just do floral bouquets, our installations are woven intricately and magically as we use the opulent beauty of nature to tell a story that represents our client. So, whether we are building a small bouquet or beautifying large event, great attention is given to translating the vision into a floral expression.
